So…. now for some words… Well why not start with someone who had a huge influence on my art. Alan Lee
Alan Lee had a big impact on my art. The fanciful creatures and mythical castles made my imagination soar. Over the years I have closely studied his art and tried to reproduce the effects he is able to create. Initially I had little luck achieving this and with no videos or books describing how he did it my efforts were all trial and error. Every few years I would find myself going back to have another go.
Then finally in 2025 I completed a version I was happy with in terms of colour scheme, values and an added background of my own.
